Hw² design was introduced to the Legacy Hotel Group ownership team to work on the refresh of their Shoreview property. They had their pallet of materials provided by the hotel brand, but wanted to make some adjustments and add some features to make it unique to have some wow to the space. Andrea worked closely with the Director of Operations and Facilities Manager to create an inviting lobby space which was increased in size with the removal of the stairs to the second floor. Turning the two remaining structural columns into a standing work area with charging capabilities for the business traveler taking advantage of a few minutes to charge electronics or check email. The existing business center was opened to create a more inviting space with a fire place and lounge chairs and the work surface behind. The gained floor space with the removal of the stairs gave the client an opportunity for a second business center that allows for small meetings, refreshments and relaxing.
