the clients liked the home and location, but in an aim to spend another twenty years there they decided to make some updates. Enlarging the kitchen in increasing the amount of daylight was high on the list, as well as creating a master bath and closet and a larger space to entertain guests. The existing lower level garage was also expanded to allow for off season storage. all this while still keeping the original character of the home, from the arched openings and wood floors to the large paned windows, many of which were replaced to make the home more energy efficient.
